This training program not only provides a future job to a woman who otherwise may not have a way to take care of herself, but a chance to grow and experience feeling fulfilled with a purpose. The women we serve have been abandoned, exploited or even trafficked. We currently have students as young as 14.

A lucrative and needed occupation is the art of tailoring. African culture is filled with this timeless skill, but isn't an accessible skill to learn without a proper teacher. We have found the perfect instructor to teach these women a craft they can use for years to come.

This course is designed to equip the women with the tools necessary to work in the community as a hairstylist. Typically these types of trainings are very expensive, but because of supporters in the United States, we are able to effectively provide these life altering programs.

Classes began June 1st 2024 and have filled up quickly with eager women ready to change their future. This FREE 8 month course is not possible without the support of individuals willing to link arms with us to make a difference. Meet our Partners
Pastor Dawson Tendo and his wife Gloria
These passionate individuals have an equal desire to serve vulnerable women in Uganda and save them from the extreme hardships they face without an opportunity like this program. Their heart is for Jesus and their energy is magnetic. They not only host this training program, but minister to a congregation of spiritually hungry community members. When they are not busy at the church or tending to their 4 children, they are serving their community by praying in the streets and uplifting the needy. We are so grateful to have such selfless and dedicated couple to lead this program on our behalf.
